Kuvaninga
Kuvaninga Energia is a 40MW reciprocating engine power plant located in Southern Mozambique. The plant includes 10 Jenbacher series 6 engines operating on domestic natural gas. 100% of the plant’s capacity is committed under a long-term power purchase agreement with the state utility Electricidade de Mozambique. The project was developed by Enventure together with Investec Bank Limited South Africa and is notable for being the first fully non-recourse, project finance generation project in the nation’s history.
